The Eight Mile Boulevard Association (8MBA) is making great strides towards
revitalizing the corridor. We are working on the following projects to
continue our efforts to connect the region with the road that connects us

The link below proposes a strategy in which the
corridor regains its vibrancy. By implementing this plan, the corridor
will become welcoming, attractive, pedestrian friendly, and alive with
activity.

MDOT Heritage Route Application
The 8MBA is in the process of finalizing its application to the Michigan
Department of Transportation (MDOT). If successful, we intend to seek
assistance (federal and state) to implement some of the aesthetic
improvements discussed in the 8 Mile Framework for Unifying Elements
document above. For more information about this program, go to

Eight Mile/Dequindre Enhancement Project
The 8MBA was awarded a grant to develop an enhancement plan for the Eight
Mile and Dequindre intersection where Detroit, Hazel Park and Warren meet.
